About us
We are developing a strategic edutainment simulation that follows the history of the Yom Kippur war of October 1973. This war is also known as The October War and in the Arab World as the Ramadan War. The simulation will involve intricacies of battlefield strategies as well as complex political maneuvering by both sides.
Our idea
We developed Sagger for two main reasons. It started as a tribute to those who fought in the Yom Kippur War, to honor their sacrifice and to honor the memories of those who fell. Later on we understood that we can also develop a software to teach about the history around the war, to teach how decisions were made and led to the outcome we know, thus leaving a legacy and a teaching tool for the next generations. Our focus is on fun to play but also on historical accuracy. We strive for this simulator to faithfully present and follow the actual events, battles, politics and real historical characters. VERIFIED INFORMATION
Sagger is the result of an extensive academic research of the Yom Kippur War. Hundreds of books, articles, testimonies and historical documents have been studied by our team to create a highly accurate historical simulator.

SHARING STORES
Sagger includes many testimonies from the veterans and witnesses of the war. However we are always looking for some more interesting stories. We have little material from the Arab side of the conflict. We welcome any relevant documents, photos and stories from the Arab participants in the Yom Kippur war.

Our mission
This simulator is thought by us as a both; entertainment and education. An “edutainment”. We want to present to our users as much as possible of the real war information. We see this project as part of an actual analysis and research of the Yom Kippur war. If you actually took part in the 1973 war, then we appreciate if you could share your stories. If you have photos, memorabilia, videos etc. please share these with us so we
can include them in this project. Playing this simulator will familiarize one with the actual events, their importance and consequences for the Middle East and for the world at large. In particular we have very little material from the Arab side of the conflict. If you are an Arab soldier that took part in this war, or have any Arab side media material from these events, then please share these with us as well as tell us the actual war stories that you know.
