About Sagger
Sagger is a strategic simulator that follows the history of the Yom Kippur war of October 1973. This war is also known as The October War and in the Arab World as the Ramadan War.
Our focus is on fun to play but also on historical accuracy. We strive for this game to faithfully present and follow the actual events, battles, politics and real historical characters. The game will let you make decisions the way actual Israeli high command had to make them.

Huge data base!​
To create Sagger we had to build a huge database of over a million words. It was created during our seven years of research of the historical facts that were relevant to understanding the Yom Kippur war. We have studied the works or Von Clausewitz and Sun Tzu. We have studied the leadership and strategies of Hannibal, Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, Frederic, Napoleon, Rommel and others. We have created analytical articles of dozens of historical battles to find out strategies that are relevant to the Yom Kippur war. All for you to learn and analyze.

Sagger is a historical simulator where you can manage one of the worst crises of the state of Israel. Thanks to this simulator you will both learn the history surrounding the Yom Kippur War of 1973 and learn the decision-making process. Alternative History
Sagger battle simulation is based on the Monte Carlo algorithm that accurately calculates odds of victory based on eleven parameters like morale, fatigue and ammunition levels. Player is allowed to issue orders that prepare IDF forces in a way different than what has happened historically.Thus the battle outcome might change and the direction of the war will be altered. We will get an alternative version of history and find what would have happened if some decisions were different.
Strategy Planner
During the war, you evaluate actions of the enemy and plan a strategic response. Your decisions must be based on the knowledge of the art of war and on accurate reading of the battle field. This is difficult since evaluation of the complex battle situation if a very subjective and difficult task. Many officers study the art of war and conflict in war colleges, however, there were very few commanders in history that are considered real geniuses of leadership like Napoleon, Cesar or Charles XII.
